Now and then I see strange things. People caring more about FB-friendships than real ones. People caring more about YouTube-Views than making short movie with good quality and a message. People signing their children in three foreign languages classes and not letting them playing wild outside. People thinking their kid has ADHD if it doesn’t want to sit down quietly all day long. Anyway, just whistle and sing along “Fake is the new Rea!”
The “real”
“fake is the new real” is here :)

Something was lacking here. “Fake is the new real” and you didn’t include breast implants? And it’s different approach, but the foreign language thing and not letting them play outside can’t be considered “fake” approach. Alternative, but who can say what’s wrong and not? I personally cannot judge. Now, the ADHD just because it doesn’t want to sit down quietly all day, THAT is idiotic, but fake?
I think that this publication needs a change in the motto.

FB friendship is more important than real friendship.. I wonder where this experience comes from ;-p? In this point I absolutely agree with you that some people really think that

How dare you write this here instead of in FB, I’m so mad at you right now, our real life friendship is really shaking, be careful and send me a teddy bear in FB – then I’ll be able to forgive you

Actually, not necessarily it means it isn’t. teo here has proven to be a more reliable friend than some of those I face in real life.

It’s funny how social media has really changed how we interact with others. I have one friend who won’t answer her phone, even if you call her one minute after she’s emailed you. Drives me nuts.
Anyway, just wanted to wish you a very happy new year, Teo. Hope 2012 is even better than 2011 for you. Best wishes from Canada.
