I was just watching a report from the Olympic games and one thing really pissed me off. Yesterday the German men and women won the gold medal in the Canoe Sport. In the short interviews with both teams, the men were talking about how well they did it and how they did a perfect run, while the women were talking about how lucky they were and how grateful they are for it, like they didn’t do it themselves. That’s one of the biggest problem for women on their way to the upper management – not only they attribute their success more often to luck than man, but other people also do it, when they are talking about successful women (read more here). And that starts in the kindergarten. It sucks. Try not to do it with your children.
